Chris Doolin and Daya Devi- Doolin

Author, singer-songwriter, recording artist Chris Doolin lives with his wife Daya in Central Florida. Learning piano as an elementary school student, he gravitated to guitar as a teenager when an electric guitar entered the household one Christmas. He went on to Harvard College, where he graduated as an English major. Continuing to pursue his love of music, he met Daya while performing as a street musician in Philadelphia, PA. The two had an immediate bond over music, dreams, alternative healing and yoga. They would discuss their dreams over breakfast, a process that has continued for forty plus years and led to their recently published book, Hidden Manna: A Dream Journey to Enlightenment. The Doolins recorded their dreams in notebooks and through intuition and inner detective work began to unravel the meaning of the mysterious dream language. As part of this process, they discovered how dreams were daily guideposts along the path of spiritual development. A lifelong goal to share this revolutionary understanding of dreams was realized when time became more readily available to Chris when he recently retired from a corporate career in IT.

Chris continues to pursue daily dream study, musical performance, songwriting, recording and writing, which includes the Doolins previous collaboration, Smile America, based on their story, poems and a music CD of the same name. Chris is delighted to be in the lives of his son Joseph and stepson Tyler.
