Destiny Deas

Destiny Deas is a lawyer, entrepreneur, author and passionate advocate for those around her. She focuses her writing on identity, story telling, and finding new approaches to life through familiar stories. As a graduate of Duke Law School, Duke Graduate School, and SMU Dedman College, Destiny loves all things academic including helping college students find their purpose and initial launch trajectory. After advising numerous startups and caring for communities and people through non-profits, she also understands that book learning is only part of the equation to success in life. You can most often find her with her family of five kids and husband, usually cooking gumbo.
