Phylla Andress is a lover of words, writer, editor, and educator from Houston, Texas. She is a loving wife, mother of two, and proud pet parent to Rascal. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family, including Rascal. She has a bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing, a master’s degree in Educational Management, and teaching certifications in English Language Arts and English as a Second Language. After 13 years of teaching at-risk students in low socioeconomic areas of the Greater Houston Metropolitan Area, she now manages virtual education programs helping many non-traditional students be able to receive a quality education. Her heart for children is what encouraged her to write children's books.
