Natalie Kormos

Growing up on a ginseng farm in Port Dover, Ontario, Natalie began writing at a young age when her mum read to her from Hailstones and Halibut Bones. She has completed three degrees at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland; a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Masters in Business and a Research Masters in molecular neurobiology and biochemistry for Alzheimer’s research. In her spare time Natalie enjoys singing as a classically trained vocal soloist, skiing, golfing, travelling, enjoying the outdoors, ballroom dancing and always learning.

Natalie’s debut book, Fibres of a Memory, was inspired by the brilliant research and teachings of Professor Frank Gunn-Moore during her studies at the University of St. Andrews. Her writing has been featured in the Parliament Literary Journal and has won literary competitions by the Royal Canadian Legion and the Poetry Institute of Canada. Natalie has a great passion in writing to share messages in a lyrical rhyming form for all ages, that are thought-provoking, provide comfort and inspire innovation and creativity.
