Katherine Reid

After receiving my PhD in chemistry with a focus on protein chemistry, I worked in biotechnology developing analytical methods for testing drug products. This background was ideally suited for my research discovering the connection between glutamate, as in MSG, and a host of chronic inflammatory health conditions. My journey started with trying to help my youngest daughter diagnosed with autism and morphed into raising awareness of the issues with our food supply, with particular focus on glutamate sources.
