David E. Gaston

David E. Gaston began writing stories at a very early age, with an enthusiasm that may have annoyed his parents and siblings more than he realized. At university he found that some instructors were surprisingly open to receiving a short story as a final project in place of an essay or report.

For many years he worked as a designer and writer of award-winning interactive learning experiences, while developing storylines for the novels that begin with Songweaver Lost.

He and his wife Carrie live on a micro-farm in Southern California with a few chickens, many native plants, and occasional possums and raccoons.
