Malik Sickstein

Malik Sickstein is the Author of the Paw Prints children's book release, "I Grab The Mic", as well as the co-author of the critically acclaimed YA novel "Let Me Hear A Rhyme". A committee member and panelist for the Hip-Hop literacy program of the Virgina Children's Book Festival, Sickstein writes children's fiction and adult non-fiction with an emphasis upon life lessons. Although he considers D.C. to be his second-home, Sickstein hails from Harlem, NYC and currently resides in the California Bay Area - "Yee!"

Sickstein takes off his writing cape only to put on his other capes as a Hip-Hop historian/Rapper, Master's-level psychologist, and proud Bison, finding new ways to combine all of the above at every chance possible.
