BRIAN J. CIUFFREDA has spent over twenty years in K-12 education reaffirming his belief that when students are having fun they learn more. He found this to be true regardless of the age of the students as a presenter at the NSTA National Conference on Science Education, the New Jersey Science Convention, and the Association for Middle Level Education Annual Conference, as well as while developing and delivering in-service teacher workshops. He is admittedly bothered by small details that don’t make sense to him - for example, being hard-pressed to find multilingual alphabet books that follow the alphabet in both languages. This led to the development of the ABC to Mastery series. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and music from Lafayette College, and a master’s in education in learning design and technology from Purdue University.
