Wes Jamison

Wes Jamison is a queer Chicago writer whose collection of essays, Carrion (Red Hen Press, June 4, 2024), received the 2021 Quill Prose Award. Their essay, and Melancholia, was selected as a winner of Essay Press's 2015 chapbook contest. Their more recent work explores the poetics of identity, semiotics in creative nonfiction, and the uncomfortable relationship between our bodies and the internet.
