Amanda Soesbee Kent

This description from a former student is one of Amanda's all-time favorite representations of who she really is: a teacher, an aunt, a Southern woman, a barely average cook, a social butterfly but only on her own terms, sometimes forgotten, sometimes needed, and always a people-pleaser. Amanda grew up in Huntersville, NC where she still lives on her family's farm with her husband. She collects journals, gel pens, rescue animals, vintage Pyrex dishes, and shoes. Her favorite author is Stephen King, favorite artist is Prince, favorite flowers are tulips, favorite pastime is traveling, and favorite people are her nephews, Chase & Gage.
