Hello Readers!

Welcome to my page. My name is Alexa Le-Cerf and I am a former first grade teacher turned stay at home mom of three little ones. I started writing while still spending my days in the classroom and I’ve finally found the time to publish my work. My goal is to write books to aid classroom teachers in building their own classroom communities. I am writing books I wish I had as a classroom teacher! My focus is on creating diverse classrooms through my illustrations paired with teaching text that can turn into class discussions. Some of my favorite themes are teaching kindness and empathy, problem-solving, growth mind-set, using mistakes as learning opportunities and most importantly helping each student see they are unique and needed to make their class complete. I hope you follow along this journey with me!
