I am a writer. It's a newly discovered art form for me. I’ve always had an artistic flair but usually with a computer parked at a desk in a print shop. I’m tapping into a new exciting form of creativity, striking a passion that is so personal, touching tender areas of my heart as well as the readers.

I grew up in Regina Saskatchewan, a medium sized City in the flattest part of the Canadian prairies. We used to say you could watch your dog run away for days. My childhood was typical for back then, we rode our bikes everywhere, no helmets and little supervision, things were safer than now. My mom knew we'd come home when we were hungry.

I went to college studying Theology in my early 20's and settled in Abbotsford after graduating.

I met Melanie when I was 27 and we built a loving family for almost 30 years until cancer took her away. The road has been one of complex emotions. We were full of hope, and courageous doctors gave it their all, but the disquieting day came, and went. The loss has been devastating. I miss her every day, but I also cherish the memories we had together. We built a beautiful life together, and nothing can take that away from me.

She left me with four wonderful kids, now in their 20’s, she also left me with a mission, unknowing to her at the time I started writing, something she had a passion for, and I see it as a new quest, not just to portray colorful thoughts but to help others with hope and courage, love being the main message.

Thank you for reading my book. There will be a prequel to TLW and I'll be authoring a novel (fiction) to be released in the fall of 2023. I'm excited to present these to you, my first few books, with sights of a career in spreading warmth with many more to come.
