Suryaprakash Tripathy

Suryaprakash Tripathy is a biotechnologist whose work bridges wet-lab research and applied artificial intelligence. He is the author of 13 peer-reviewed publications with international scientific publishers, including Springer Nature, Elsevier (Academic Press), and CRC Press, covering topics across biotechnology, molecular biology, and applied life sciences. His research training spans three premier Indian institutions: Pondicherry Central University, where he completed his MSc Biotechnology investigating the synergistic effects of Temozolomide and Nanaomycin A on U87MG glioblastoma cells; the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, where he explored Ivermectin as a PKC agonist in HepG2 hepatocellular carcinoma; and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal, where he worked on hypoxia-derived exosomes.

He is a triple national fellowship holder, having qualified for the ICMR-JRF, DBT-GATB, and GATE BT examinations. He was awarded a Summer Research Fellowship by the Indian Academy of Sciences in association with INSA and NASI, under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. He has also completed graduate-level certifications in Medical Diagnosis, Medical Prognosis, and Generative AI.

His academic record includes first rank across all graduating students in the Department of Zoology at P. N. Autonomous College under Utkal University, recognised with the Shivaram Memorial Award, the Gayadhar Memorial Award, and the Sanghamitra Memorial Award.

He writes about biotechnology and applied AI for working scientists. His thesis is that the future of biology belongs to those who can stand confidently on both sides of the bench-and-keyboard divide. Computation proposes, the bench disposes.
