Laura E. Knouse

Dr. Laura Knouse is a clinical psychologist whose research and clinical expertise focus on the nature, assessment, and treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults. She specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for adult ADHD and is passionate about using insights from this approach to empower adults with ADHD to live better lives. Her research also aims to understand the self-regulation and motivation difficulties of college students with ADHD and to develop effective interventions. Dr. Knouse's interdisciplinary work in leadership studies focuses on how leaders can most effectively cope with personal crisis.
