Janet Bates

I am Janet Bates, the daughter of the late Jack Rockell. Although I had a brother, he passed away in 2022. While working on this book, I found myself retracing its contents, often with the aid of a magnifying glass. This journey has been filled with both laughter and tears, with the feeling that Jack was right there beside me, guiding the process. It has been a true privilege, an honor, and a profound challenge. I am confident that Dad, or Jack as he was known, would be delighted to see this work printed and shared with a wide audience.

Dad was born in New Zealand in 1921 and passed away in 2000, just a month or two shy of his 80th birthday. The photo above shows Dad and 2 of his sisters approximately a year prior to his death.

J.G. Rockell, 1921-2000, spent his entire life in New Zealand, except for his service in WWII. He penned this book around 1988, driven by the insights he received from the "other side." To preserve this manuscript from deterioration and fulfill his unfinished legacy, we've chosen to publish his work in 2023. By that time, the manuscript had become nearly indecipherable, making it all the more imperative to share his profound wisdom with the world.

I personally, am a recently retired Registered Nurse, specialising in Intensive Care. I am married and have 2, now adult,children and one very precious grand daughter, and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. My husband and I both work from home as healers. We both practice the Spinal Flow, Technique and my husband also, has modified Thai Massage.He does this with client on a chair or table, with amazing outcomes.
