Julija Suput

Julija Šuput was born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia, where she earned a B.A. in French Language and Literature, and Italian Language. Her passion for studying foreign Languages and learning about foreign cultures enticed her to live in different countries, including France and Italy. She received an M.A. In Teaching Foreign Languages from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, in Monterey, CA. The beautiful Monterey Bay area, where she spent both the worst and best times of her adult life, plays a central role in her memoir Picking up the Pieces. Her short stories The Bouquet of Roses and The Return Home have appeared in two anthologies published by Universal Table/Wising up Press.
