Damian realised from a young age that he wasn’t good enough to become a footballer himself but has reported on the Premier League since its formation and covered several World Cup tournaments. Now, this broadcaster-turned-author has published his first children’s book, Football's Champions of Change which profiles brilliant black and minority ethnic footballers past and present, their battle for acceptance and the anti-racist campaigns they inspire.
