Brandon M. Heavner

Brandon M. Heavner was born in Lincolnton, NC. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies with concentration in Religious History and Thought from Lenoir-Rhyne University, and a Master of Divinity degree from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary of Lenoir-Rhyne University in Columbia, SC. An ordained pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Brandon serves congregations in Northeastern Pennsylvania alongside his wife, Jennifer, who is also an ordained pastor. A member of Co.lab.inq, Brandon contributes to the collaborative work of church leaders exploring the relationship between the institutional church and religious nones and dones. Brandon's interests include Lutheran theology, sacramental practice as it relates to ecumenical dialogue and Christian discipleship, all things Dietrich Bonhoeffer, videogames, and the occasional venture in to woodworking.
