Reading books to my daughter, I realized that there was a lack of diversity in children's books in the US. There were simply no Indian women role models represented in children's books. Therefore, I decided to write some books on inspiring Indian women who I see as role models for young girls. I hope this series inspires our next generation of women leaders.
