Barbara A. F. Brehon

Rev. Dr. Barbara A. F. Brehon is an author, podcast host, lyricist, song producer, and dedicated spiritual leader centered on equipping believers to live out their God-gifted purposes. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, she accepted a definitive call to ministry in her early thirties, blending her background as a reading specialist with deep theological training to creatively share God's Word.

An innovative voice in modern ministry, Dr. Brehon is the author of the Perspectives book and workbook series, designed to guide readers through intentional spiritual reflections. In late 2025, she debuted as a lyricist and song producer, bringing emotional narratives to life through music. She also hosts the dynamic podcast UNBOXED on Purpose, now in its seventh season. Based in rural Virginia, she serves as the visionary leader of Favored by the Father Ministries (a thriving "church without walls" with its own mobile app) and as Associate Pastor of Beulah Baptist Church.

Whether through a book chapter, a podcast episode, a musical composition, or a sermon, Dr. Brehon preaches and teaches God’s Word with uncompromising integrity to the text whenever and wherever she is called to serve.
