According to Advaita (nonduality), our longing for lasting peace and joy arises precisely because we have forgotten our true nature as the one and only pure being (or awareness) there is—eternal (timeless), infinite (dimensionless), indivisibly whole, innately peaceful, and absolutely fulfilled. The recognition of this pure being (or awareness) as oneself leads to the cessation of suffering and the experience of lasting peace and joy. It is accessible to everyone, everywhere, and always for direct, non-objective recognition.
I was born in Kathmandu, Nepal, and have been living in the United States with my family since 1988. It has been a wonderful and fulfilling life all along. I have been practicing spirituality for many years. Every year I have been spending thousands of hours on activities such as listening to YouTube discourses on spirituality, conducting internet research on spiritual topics, contemplating the knowledge, understanding, and insight I have gained, applying them in my daily life, and so on.
Spiritual writing has been one of my spiritual practices, with the purpose of sharing what I have been able to learn, discover, and intuit. I wrote my first book in Nepali dealing with Vedantic spirituality and its practical application in life, which was published in 2021. Then, in 2023, I wrote a book in English titled "Is Spirituality the Key to Lasting Peace and Joy?"
