A lifelong reader and creative soul, K.J. began writing after becoming disabled due to spinal issues. As a survivor of domestic abuse and someone living with bipolar I disorder, PTSD, and anxiety, she brings raw honesty and emotional depth to every page. Her characters are beautifully flawed, fiercely loyal, and often caught between danger and desire.

When she’s not writing, K.J. draws in graphite and digital media, knits and crochets intricate patterns. She lives in Iowa, where she finds joy in her art, her two grown daughters, and her brilliant grandchildren who light up her world.
