Sarah Johnson

For over two decades, I've been immersed in the dynamic world of the UK education system, specialising in inclusion, behavior, and mental health. My journey has been marked by a passionate commitment to fostering an environment where every student can thrive, regardless of their challenges.

With a background rooted in education, I have had the privilege of working on a wide spectrum of projects that have informed and enriched my understanding of the complex issues surrounding social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) and behavior in educational settings. This wealth of experience has fueled my writing, allowing me to create books that encapsulate the essence of my work.

In addition to my books, I've contributed my expertise to renowned publications such as Schools Week, NASEN (National Association for Special Educational Needs), and TES (Times Educational Supplement). These platforms have allowed me to share my insights and research with a broader audience, furthering the conversation on inclusion, behavior, and mental health in education.

I am particularly passionate about supporting the inclusion of children who are at risk of exclusion, hailing from displaced communities, and may be marginalized by other life experiences. My advocacy extends beyond the classroom, as I strive to empower educators, parents, and policymakers with the tools and knowledge to create environments where every child's potential can be realized.

Through my writing, I aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice, providing actionable strategies and evidence-based insights that foster inclusive, supportive, and mentally healthy learning environments.
