Juliette Kellow

Juliette Kellow BSc RD is a registered dietitian with a passion for food, diet, nutrition, and health. A member of the British Dietetic Association, she’s worked in the NHS and for the food industry.

Juliette entered the magazine world in the mid-90s when she joined Slimming magazine, working her way through the editorial ranks to become Editor of the title. In 2000, she became Editor of health and beauty magazine, Top Santé. In 2011, she was Editorial Director for the the launch of Healthy Food Guide magazine, later becomming the Nutrition Consultant for the title.

Juliette now works as a Nutrition Consultant and Writer, and writes for many publications including The Daily Mirror, The Daily Express and Closer magazine.

As a consultant, Juliette advises food industry clients and regularly works with brands on PR, media, and copywriting activities. Her clients have included Love Seafood, Dairy UK, the Almond Board of California, Norwegian Seafood, MyNutriweb, Premier Foodservice, Pink Lady Apples, Tenderstem Broccoli, Gem Avocados, Eatlean Cheese, Subway and Pizza Express. As part of this work she advises on nutrition issues and claims, writes blogs, provides copy for websites and social channels, chairs influencer and health professional events and webinars, carries out nutrition analysis, and takes part in media radio days and podcasts.

Juliette is co-author of Eat Better Live Longer and Miracle Foods for Kids. She has also contributed sections to The Italian Diet and La Dolce Diet by Gino D’Acampo, The Essential Low Fat Cookbook by Antony Worral Thompson, and The Calorie, Carb and Fat Bible. Her latest book – Simply Nutrition For Complete Beginners – is co-authored with nutritionist Fiona Hunter and is due for publication on 2 November 2023.
