With over 40 years working in the jewelry industry and purchasing millions of dollars of diamonds, gemstones, and jewelry, I have seen many changes—some good, some not so good, but all interesting. There are so many misconceptions and, sadly, deliberate mistruths I wanted customers to find answers to their questions. With a BS degree in geology and as a GIA gemologist, I have guided customers to honest answers, and this book can do the same for the reader and future customers.
