Marco Gottardo was born in 1978 in Dolo, a charming Venetian town built on the banks of the imaginary continuation of the Grand Canal, the Brenta.

From a young age he expressed a gentle and sensitive poetic-literary vein, almost immediately suppressed by a scientific current, followed not by his will, which soon led him to clash with the world of work, which could hardly have contained his humanistic soul.

Marco is a computer scientist and, still, works between hospital and clinical software, but he has never forgotten how he felt to put his thoughts on paper ... and they were and are truly many.

In 2020, in the midst of the austere covid period, his first and (currently) only child was born and something began to change. He felt attracted by the imagination that this little puppy expressed and this made him want to cross, once again, the threshold of that world of words, which he now believed forgotten.

In 2023, still living in a social-web world, he comes across AI (artificial intelligence, for mere mortals).

This is a turning point!

The stories and words he shared with his son could now be put on illustrated paper and he begins, for fun, to create children's books.

Marco does not do it with the arrogance of feeling like a writer, but simply to be able to make his thoughts real.

Thus, as a test bed, the first book 'The enchanted adventures of Luna and Spark - a journey beyond the rainbow' was born, with great help from AI, to get to write from scratch 'The kite dragon' and finally 'Pietro and the Imaginary Monsters'.

There are still many extravagant stories in his head, which are perhaps just waiting to be realized.
