Born in 1948, in Essex, Barry Litton moved to Tintagel, Cornwall to get out of the "Rat Race" where he bought and was the proprietor of "St. Nectan's Glen and Waterfall," a Tourist Attraction for almost 30 years with his wife Jean. Jean died in 2010. In February 2011 Barry visited his brother in Ireland. The first time he had been out of the country, where he met Tena, who had lost her husband and was working with Barry's sister in law. They exchanged numbers and spent the next 9 months chatting which lead to "courting" over the phone. Barry eventually sold his place at the end of 2011 and moved to Ireland. He and Tena married in 2012. Barry had written short, humorous stories for his pals when at school and Tena encouraged him to take it up in his retirement. After several of these for friends, he progressed to a more serious format. These stories are his first published works.
