Sherri Ashburner

Sherri Ashburner grew up on a steady diet of Walter Brooks' Freddy the Pig books and of course, Nancy Drew. She never quite left her childhood behind, to which her two sons will agree, and that makes writing middle grade books the perfect fit for her.

Sherri worked for a dozen years off and on at a glorious independent bookstore, where she spent way too much time in the middle grade section. Sherri lives on the Connecticut shoreline with one of her sons, two wobbly cats, one devilish black bengal, and a rescued catahoula mix of a dog.
