Rodney holds a Doctorate from the University of Leicester's School of Business (UK), a global academy for leaders and innovators. As a social scientist, he delved into the role mindfulness plays in leadership performance. He holds a Master's degree in Leading Innovation and Change from York St John University's School of Business (UK), with an undergraduate background in psychology.

As a certified Advanced Nature-Therapy Guide, Rodney completed his Master of Science by Research in Nature Connectedness; Health Psychology at De Montfort University (UK). His unique and innovative approach to leadership, self-management, and nature connectedness has been shared with companies such as Google, Uber, Airbnb, Facebook, and Singapore Airlines, among others. Yet, his most transformative work often occurs in personalized one-on-one coaching sessions.
