Christopher Ernst

My name is Christopher Ernst. I am an Army veteran. I was born in Belleville, IL in 1991. I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 3. I battled cancer up until I was 13 years old. Then after 10 years I was officially cancer free. I graduated high school at Chaminade Julienne in Dayton Ohio. I joined the army in 2013 I was in aviation operations while in the army and medically retired in 2021. I was injured in Afghanistan in 2017. I retired a combat veteran. It was an honor to serve my country. I published my book in 2021 and this story on how I overcame cancer and how I couldn’t have done it without my family motivating me to fight back and giving me the will to live. Family is the foundation to overcome any struggle in life and mine started at a young age. I share many inspirational, humorous and emotional times in my life as I battled with cancer.
