My name is Ricardo Chicas and I was born under the lush rainforests and stunning coastlines of Costa Rica. Surrounded by the country's incredible biodiversity, I developed a lifelong passion for nature from an early age. This led me to become an avid traveler who loves immersing himself in diverse cultures worldwide.

You can often find me outdoors appreciating nature’s beauty. I also have an endless curiosity to understand the human experience, no matter how difficult. My hope is to evoke an array of emotions and understanding of human nature through my writing while encouraging others to find the beauty around them even in hard times.
