Brooke Holmes, J.D., a Minnesota litigation attorney, brings realistic true crime aspects to her legal thrillers. She was born and raised in Forest Lake, Minnesota, and currently lives in New Prague with her growing family. She is a Partner Attorney practicing in criminal defense and family law, who was awarded Minnesota Attorney of the Year for 2021. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice where her love for criminal law blossomed and led to her legal career that she enjoys now. Brooke hopes that Unjust and the rest of the series to come will educate people about realities and shortcomings of the American Judicial System.
