Nicholas Hodgson

Nicholas Hodgson recently learned that he has a distant ancestor who was... shortened by about a foot... using an axe... by a government employee... at the Tower of London about five hundred years ago (due to some scurrilous fake news about him having an affair with the Queen at the time).

Which is precisely the type of historical factoid that he finds most fascinating to learn about - especially when it involves Romans, or Nazis, or London or any of the themes and settings which feature most prominently in his middle grade novels.

In fact I have it on good authority that were you to ask any of the students Nicholas teaches in the high school I shall not name, they would confirm that the best way to get him talking (and thereby not have to do any work) is to ask a history question in clss and watch it turn into a long story through time, space and fun fascinating facts!

Nicholas loves history. He loves reading. He loves writing and he loves his family.

Thanks!
