Maverick Addi Addison is a driven and dedicated individual with a passion for leadership and community building. Born and raised in Accra, Ghana, he attended the prestigious Accra Academy Senior High School where he honed his skills in government, politics, and diplomacy. After completing his high school education, he pursued a Diploma in Business Studies and CIMA at the Institutions of Professional Studies, where he excelled both academically and socially.
Throughout his academic career, Maverick demonstrated a strong interest in global affairs, human rights, and environmental issues. This led him to complete several additional studies to broaden his knowledge base, including Development Economics at the Marginal Revolution University, Environmental Law at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Homeland Security and Cyber Security at the University of Colorado, and Understanding Terrorism and Terrorist Threat at the University of Maryland.
His dedication and commitment to social justice, community building and youth empowerment led Maverick to found the Movement for United African Youth International. This organization is committed to developing the leadership skills of young people across Africa, and encourages them to become active change-makers in their communities.
