Kyle Walker

Kyle Walker is a writer and playwright based in Valdez, Alaska. His works in science fiction, fantasy, and horror explore the supernatural mysteries, distant worlds, and creeping horrors that lurk in the shadows of our past, present, and future. His writing strives to make the voiceless heard and the strange accepted – lifting and honoring BIPOC and the LGBTQIA+ community.

Graduating from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan with a degree in Theatre, he went on to help found The University Wits Theatrical Company and the Valdez Feral Writers Guild. He wrote five original plays for The University Wits, all premiering at Dog Story Theater in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He co-wrote “If” by Sonny Midnight, which premiered at TBA Theater in Anchorage, Alaska. His play "Trees Enter Stage Left" premiered at the Valdez Actors Academy in 2022. His other theatrical works have been featured at Hap Ryder Riverfront Theatre in Fairbanks, AK and the Valdez Theater Conference. His fiction work can be seen in Scary Monsters Magazine and the Prince William Sound Anthology Series.
