Fabiana Salgado

Fabiana Salgado is a teen author born in Mexico City and living in South Florida. Her writing journey began at the age of ten with The Adventures of Oreo, which was followed by Orphaned a year later. Besides reading and writing, she enjoys daydreaming about these things, binging Netflix with a bag full of chocolate by her side, watching and playing basketball, traveling, and listening to music, namely Freddie Mercury and David Bowie, while doing most of the above (hence the quote at the beginning of this novel). Having been born in Mexico and relentlessly proud of her roots, Fabiana understands the importance of writing fun, inclusive, and relatable novels for fellow teenagers and book dragons, and she believes she is at an advantage, seeing as how she is the same age as these readers.
