Mary Ann has been a registered nurse for over a quarter of a century with a second career as a computer consultant. When she transitioned into the retirement phase of her life, she wanted to actively pursue her life -long love of writing. After several years of freelancing for newspapers and magazines, she decided to focus on publishing her first book, What My Dog Told Me About Healthy Eating, the story of how her beloved basset, Mochi, helped change her eating choices.
When her long- time companion crossed over the rainbow bridge, the author felt it only natural to create another volume as a tribute and exploration of pet death. Mary Ann hopes by sharing her stories of appreciation and travel adventures she will help others feel better.
As an animal lover and advocate for health eating, she founded her church Vegetarian Ministry in the town where she lives, Princeton, N.J.
