With a master’s degree in international public relations and communications management, the author of this book, Thomas Koenig first worked as a media consultant in the electronic devices industry (trade marketing). This was followed by a specialization in the healthcare sector (Pharma, Biotech, MedTech, Life Sciences), where he has held several senior marketing communications positions over the past 12 years.
During his education he also studied media science and worked for many years as a freelance editor for various German daily newspapers and trade magazines. During his extended stay in the USA in the late 90s, he taught German to American and international students at St. Olaf College in Northfield.
