Being a sculptor had always been my creative outlet, even though my quiet moments have always been spent reading. As my aging hands and fingers found it difficult to manipulate clay and wood to the same degree, I knew I would need to find a new way to express my imaginative process. Delving into memories and acknowledging "I am not what has happened to me, but what I choose to allow to shape who I am." Seeing the pendulum of my mind oscillate between sense and nonsense, I decided to embrace the journey. Writing has become an outlet that has nurtured this new mode of creativity! As George Bernard Shaw stated "You see things, and you say why? But I dream things that never were and say why not?"
