James Wesolowski is an American author, photographer, and technologist currently living in Paris and New York City. James was born in Buffalo, USA, and is a graduate of The John Hopkins University.
James fell in love with Paris when he first visited as a young man. After university, his work took him to Washington DC, Southern Africa, and Central America. He settled in New York City in 2000, where he founded Colibri Solutions, a boutique B2B software consultancy. A frequent and longtime visitor to Paris, James moved there in 2020, where he pursues his passions for museums, landscape and architectural photography, French wine and cuisine, and distance running. He harbors an ongoing fantasy of studying art restoration and working on paintings in one of Paris’ many small churches.
James is the co-author and photographer of the guidebook "111 Museums in Paris That You Shouldn't Miss" from publisher Emons Verlag GmbH. You can also see his photography on Instagram at @111museumsparis and @jameswesolowski1.
