Marcelo Ribeiro is a Brazilian journalist and postgraduate in Administration with an MBA in Marketing Management. He has been working in the communication and marketing market since 1996, and since 2006 has worked in digital marketing and web content agencies. From 2008 he began to lead performance marketing teams with a focus on SEO, Social Media, and content production. At that time, he had contact with large companies, such as Terra Portal, Globo Publisher, B2W, Walmart, Tecnisa among others. From 2008, he also had his first contacts with startups, and from 2016 he began to manage the Marketing of Olist, which would become one of the Brazilian unicorns.

After nearly 5 years in charge of Olist's marketing and going through experiences in series B, C, and D investment fundraising processes, he went through other startups with the aim of organizing scale operations. He is currently the Head of Marketing on an early stage startup.

The author also writes about the history of military aviation, having collaborated with books and magazines in Brazil and abroad since the early 2000s. He authored a book illustrated by himself about the paintings of the famous naval fighter F-14 Tomcat and specialized in historical articles about aerial warfare during the Cold War, specifically about the Vietnam War and the 1991 Gulf War.

His focus on the production of digital books is to merge the production of content for both marketing for startups and the history of aviation, passing through his experience with his borderline and ADHD daughter.
