Francesco Orsi

I'm an Associate Professor in philosophy working at the University of Tartu, Estonia. I write mostly about value: both about its nature, structure, varieties, as I did in my Value Theory (2015), and about its role in our practical lives, as in my The Guise of the Good: A Philosophical History (2023), where I narrate the history of the long-standing idea that we can only pursue something if it appears good to us.
