Originally from Buffalo, New York, I grew up watching many Bills games while eating chicken wings and pizza. A Super Bowl is surely in their immediate future. Go Bills.

I am a former elementary and middle school teacher. And yes, I did teach that boring food safety class that nobody cares about (mentioned in Chapter 3).

I love volunteering, especially at church and school events. You will find me helping at the high school football field cheering on my son. Go Sharks!

I have lived in northern Florida, for the past twelve years. And just like in the book, we drag our beach carts across the street all the time.

Participating in the Florida Writers Association along with all of my new author memberships has kept me very busy. I am excited to visit a few schools and set up my first author table at back-to-school events.

Currently, I am working on a sequel, Middle School and Drama Overload, and am hoping to have the very talented Mike Werner illustrate it.
