Mapi Rodríguez was born in Gran Tarajal, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands. She moved to Madrid to finish her studies and later to Barcelona, where she now resides. She has worked as a Casting Director and Judicial Expert in Graphology and Psychographology. Her passion for literature and poetry led her to submit her poems to several contests, becoming a finalist in the "HAIKUS" category.

In 2020, she published "The Secrets of Lilva" as an author. In 2023, she published "The Spice Box". Her book not only shares her love for spices and their use in cooking but also personal stories, family mysteries, and significant encounters that have shaped her life. She weaves a captivating story of love and discovery that transcends the kitchen and delves into the hearts of her readers.
