Major General (Retired) Mike Milano is currently an author, keynote speaker, leadership consultant, coach, and trainer. His passions have been focused on training and leader development throughout his extensive career leading in both the United States Army and with Target Corporation. During his 33-year career on active duty in the Army, Mike led from platoon to theater command level in combat units during multiple operational deployments. His numerous general officer assignments included Director of Training, US Army, the Pentagon; Deputy Commanding General of the 4th Infantry Division and Commanding General of the Coalition Police Training and Advisory Training mission in Iraq; and, Commanding General of both Fort Knox, KY and Fort Jackson, SC, major Army training installations. During his seven years with Target Corporation he served as Senior Director, Distribution and led through innovative change in many aspects of the company's global supply chain. Mike earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, PA, and he holds two Masters degrees. Mike is also an avid guitar player, hiker, reader, and he values physical and mental fitness and time with his wonderful family.
