J D Badrock began her career in the city, working in investments and financial services. She changed direction and ended her career as a director of finance in the voluntary sector. She took a career break to gain an art degree at St Martins and spent a year with a an Essex based artist group working with children in after-school clubs. She then took on interim finance roles in the voluntary sector while renovating ‘the money pit’ aka her rambling house and gardens. She’s written about ten novels, six of which have been published, and when not writing she can be found in her art studio or garden.
