W.G. Sharp

Willie Sharp was born in Falkirk in 1961. After graduating with a degree in Zoology from Edinburgh University, he moved to North West England, the setting for his debut novel “Lost Lyrics Of A Forgotten Song”. He wanted to write something that was unusual and memorable, so if you’re after a retread of a well-worn formula this is probably not for you. If you’d like an ingenious, uplifting story with a twisty plot, told with a lot of heart and bit of humour, then you will enjoy this book.

Willie still lives in Lancashire with his wife Fiona and two cats, Stanley and Gigi. He occupies an unshakable fourth place in the family’s hierarchy, a position that guarantees all of the lowliest tasks and affords him no voting rights at house meetings. He says that, without doubt, the most satisfying aspect of writing is hearing the feedback of his readers. If you have any thoughts on the book he’d love to hear them.
