As the proud grandparents of five precious grandchildren, my wife, Linda, and I have been blessed with the joy of witnessing the unique characters, colourful personalities, funny habits, and enchanting life experiences of our little ones. It is this boundless inspiration that has motivated us to embark on a creative journey, writing stories about our grandchildren and dedicating them as a heartfelt gifts and memoirs to their families.

At the time of writing our first children's book, our grandchildren ranged in age from six to one and a half. Each of them possesses a distinct and captivating presence, which has fuelled our desire to capture their essence in the enchanting tales we create. It is a joyous endeavour that allows us to weave narratives that not only entertain but also serve as a loving tribute to our beloved grandchildren.

In terms of our backgrounds, I, Rory, have dedicated over four decades to the construction industry. Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in building and managing projects, gaining a wealth of technical expertise along the way. This vast experience has undoubtedly contributed to my role as the "technical" contributor to our book. From her early days as a secretary to her ventures in beauty therapy, sales and marketing, swimming school management, and first aid training, Linda has demonstrated an exceptional command of the English language. Her linguistic prowess and creative flair make her an invaluable asset to our writing endeavours.
