Dr. Danilo Lopez-Roman

Danilo Lopez-Roman is an architect, poet, translator, editor, anthologist, and cultural promoter. He holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Texas. He has published seven books in English and Spanish, the most recent being “Poemas del Hombre” (poetry 2020) and “The Hells of Valhalla” (short stories 2020). Two other books are forthcoming in 202324: Generaciones and Country at the Edge of Nowhere/Pais al Borde de la Nada.

His poems have appeared in many printed and electronic media, like Hayden’s Ferry Review, Linden Lane, Border Senses, Baquiana, Carrier Pigeon, Cronopios, The Chachalaca Review, etc. His poetry has been collected in anthologies in Latin America, the USA, Palestine, and Spain.

Danilo is also a digital artist producing prints in several media, NFTs (Opensea) and rapidly selling his art to magazines and private collectors. Each of his paintings is paired with one of his poems or short stories which sets him apart from most other artists.
