Randy Ritchie is known by the lawn and garden industry as a leader in REAL Organic gardening. He is the best-selling garden book author of A Hundred Years of Deception - Why Gardening Must Change and Real Organic Gardening. His search for real, living, healthy organic compost led him to create Malibu Compost, makers of real organic, farm made and Non-GMO compost and soil products in America. He is also the co-founder and managing partner of Number 2 Organics, a soil company formed during the remediation of century old dairy farms in Southern California. He has taught real organic gardening to tens of thousands of gardeners across America and at national garden shows and now teaches how to grow real organic online to reach more people through classes and consulting services to home gardeners, farmers, landscapers, estate horticulturists, hotel managers, urban farmers and homesteaders.
